Admission Requirements
1.  Complete the Baccalaureate Degree Requirements (described in the UAA Course Catalog, Chapter 10, page 79), including applying for admission to UAA enrollment services for a BHS Degree.

2.  Students must apply for admission to the BHS program.  Students must be within one semester of, or have completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Human Services or an equivalent major from an accredited institution recognized by the University of Alaska Anchorage prior to being admitted as a full Bachelor of Human Services major.  The BHS Admission application is posted at the end of the BHS orientation.  Please access the orientation HERE.

Graduation Requirements
Students must complete the following graduation requirements:
A.   General University Requirements
      Complete the General University Requirements for Baccalaureate Degrees (described in the UAA Course Catalog, Chapter 10, page 79). 

B.   General Education Requirements
     Complete the General Education Requirements for Baccalaureate Degrees (described in the UAA Course Catalog, Chapter 10, page 79).

C.   Major Requirements
      Complete the following Bachelor of Human Services (BHS) core requirements (33 credits minimum)

2.  Complete 6 credits from one of the emphasis areas.

3.  A total of 120 credits is required for the degree, of which 42 credits must be upper division.
